Everything you need to know about the eftpos Gift Card — how to use it, where it's accepted, and what to do if anything comes up.
The Perfect Gift Card can be used to make purchases at any merchant within Australia, who accept eftpos (subject to the merchant's discretion). The Perfect Gift Card cannot be used online, or to withdraw cash via an ATM or eftpos facility (i.e. cash out in‑store).
The Perfect Gift Card can be purchased from Woolworths, ALDI, Big W and Officeworks.
There are no fees associated with use of The Perfect Gift Card or checking the Gift Card's balance or transactions.
Any cards activated up until 30th March 2018 will have a twelve (12) month expiry period, and any cards activated from 31st March 2018 will have a three (3) year expiry period. You can check the expiry date of your Gift Card at perfecteftposcard.com.au/check-balance.
You can check the balance, expiry date and transaction history of your The Perfect Gift Card anytime at perfecteftposcard.com.au/check-balance. Balance enquiries are free and available 24/7.
The Perfect Gift Card can only be used in‑store when the physical card is present and swiped through the payment terminal. Always select “Savings” and when asked for the PIN, enter the 4‑digit PIN that is under the scratch panel on the back of the Gift Card.
When prompted, enter the 4‑digit PIN located under the scratch panel on the rear of the card.
If the value of the purchase you want to make is greater than the value/balance on The Perfect Gift Card, you will need to supplement the additional value with cash or another payment method that is accepted by the merchant.
No. The Perfect Gift Card cannot be used online. It can only be used in‑store when the physical card is present and swiped through the payment terminal.
No. The Perfect Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash via an ATM or eftpos facility (i.e. cash out in‑store).
Yes. Gift Cards are partially redeemable. Within the Gift Card's validity period, any available balance can be used for multiple purchases at any participating merchant.
No. The Perfect Gift Card is a single‑load card and cannot be re‑loaded. Once the balance has been used, the card cannot be topped up.
All Gift Cards purchased in store are activated when purchased at the point‑of‑sale. No additional activation step is required.
If your Gift Card is lost or stolen, or you suspect an unauthorised transaction, immediately report this by calling 1300 809 791. We may be able to stop Gift Card value being used, but require the Gift Card number, original balance and expiry date.
Lost, stolen, damaged or expired Gift Cards cannot be replaced or refunded.
